**The Oregon Health Authority is proposing a rule change that would prevent associate and intern mental health providers—those in their first three to five years of supervised practice—from billing the Oregon Health Plan in private practice and certain group practice settings. This decision threatens access to care for thousands of patients. If this rule goes into effect, those on OHP could be forced to find a new provider, disrupting the care they rely on. You can use this action page to contact your elected officials today and tell them to protect your right to continue seeing your trusted provider!
Cash Pay Fees:
Individual therapy: $155 per clinical hour
Group therapy: $30 - $60 per session (sliding scale)
Consultation (30-minutes) : Free of charge
All sessions are currently offered via telehealth.
Sessions are paid by credit card, securely stored on file through my Electronic Health Records system.
Superbills:
Some insurance plans are able to partially reimburse you for sessions with an out-of-network provider. I am happy to provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company. Feel free to reach out with any questions regarding this process!
Good Faith Estimate
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. You are entitled to receive a Good Faith Estimate in writing before receiving services. You can also ask your provider for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
